We have new one to one tutoring sessions and studio based taster workshops available!
Fun, high quality taster textile workshops in small groups with ambitious results.
Our 3 hour workshops will provide you with the knowledge to design your own product. You will learn how to create stunning patterns using photography and the Creative Capture App. Followed by using Photoshop to adapt and manipulate the designs, finishing with uploading your complete design into a template to be manufactured. After the workshop you will receive printed product with your own design!
These workshops will be held in our new studio in small groups, allowing us to give each students an engaging and intimate experience and to ensure high quality teaching. The workshops will are based on Kathy’s many years experience of teaching digital textile design using Photoshop.
Please note: we do not supply computers
You will need to bring:
– Basic knowledge of Photoshop
– A laptop with Photoshop installed
– A smart phone or tablet with Adobe Capture App Installed – to create your design
One to One digital textile design tutoring
Stuck on how to move forward with your work? These session are designed to advise you on technical, creative, portfolio and product development.
One hour sessions via Skype or in the Studio.
£45 for first session, £35 for second, £150 for 4 sessions.

Designing Textile using Photoshop – Advanced
4 day intensive advanced course for textiles designers, starting with a portfolio preview for each students and then working through advanced techniques and design skills using Photoshop.

Textile and surface pattern: from drawing to digital print
The aim of the course is to learn how to create drawings and prints by hand and then transform them into digital files using Photoshop.It is suitable for beginners and for students, artists and designers who already have a creative practice and who would like an introduction into working with Photoshop.
