These textiles design course are based in one of City Lit’s computer suites. The courses are computer design based and you will come away with prints on paper and some A4 fabric samples.

Printmaking for textiles at The Conservatoire in Blackheath
Apply basic printmaking techniques such as mono printing, block printing and screen printing to textiles/fabric design. Learn design development and repeat design skills alongside the possibilities of combining printmaking with textile arts. All levels welcome.

Designing Textiles using Photoshop at The Mary Ward Centre
These are 3 courses over 3 terms at an introduction, intermediate and advanced level. You can take them individually or as a year long course. The course is based in the print studio, with students designing on laptops and having access to the print equipment to make samples and prototypes.
